Claude Cowork is Anthropic's agentic knowledge-work desktop app (launched January 2026 on macOS, then Windows), able to run multi-step workflows across your files and apps. Paired with Claude for PowerPoint — the template-aware Office add-in that went generally available on paid Claude plans in May 2026 — it works as a co-author inside your deck rather than a generic slide generator. Claude reads your existing template (slide master, layouts, fonts, colors) and produces or edits slides that respect your brand, so you can go from a natural-language brief ("build a market-sizing section with TAM, SAM, SOM") to on-brand slides, restructure a storyline, convert bullets into diagrams, or add native charts — without copy-pasting between tools. Because Cowork can chain research, data analysis, and deck-building in one agentic flow, it suits reps and teams who want a deck assembled as part of a larger task. Available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans (Cowork itself spans Pro and up).
